Senior Personal Banker / Banking Operations Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Palm Beach, FL

Employment Type: 4 month Contract-to-Hire

Pay: 20/hour W2

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Personal Banker / Banking Operations Specialist to provide client service, account servicing, and operational support within a banking and wealth management environment. This role requires a strong understanding of banking operations, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

The successful candidate will support clients and internal partners by processing account requests, handling money movement transactions, maintaining documentation, resolving service issues, and ensuring adherence to operational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to clients through in-person, telephone, and email interactions.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide information regarding banking products and services.
• Process account servicing requests accurately and within established service-level expectations.
• Support new account openings, account maintenance activities, and account closures.
• Prepare and submit wire transfers, fund transfers, and other money movement transactions.
• Maintain complete and accurate account records and supporting documentation.
• Research and assist in resolving account-related and client-service issues.
• Handle paying and receiving activities, including cash transactions and daily balancing.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and internal support teams to complete client requests efficiently.
• Follow established banking procedures, operational controls, and compliance requirements.
• Escalate operational, documentation, risk, or compliance concerns when appropriate.
• Monitor reports and assist with audits and operational reviews as directed.
• Develop expertise in banking systems, servicing tools, and operational processes.
• Support safe deposit box servicing activities when required.
• Maintain knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in banking operations, personal banking, private banking, wealth management, or financial services support.
• Strong client service and relationship management skills.
• Experience supporting account servicing activities in a banking environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience processing wire transfers, fund transfers, and other money movement requests.
• Experience supporting account openings, maintenance, and closures.
• Familiarity with banking documentation, controls, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
• Experience supporting high-net-worth, private banking, or wealth management clients.
• Interest in transitioning into a permanent position following the contract assignment.
